It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that if person A avoids person B like they had five kinds of plague, that person A has a problem with person B. However apparently now a days non-verbal communication is not enough.
After just over six months since my stepfather came on to me, my mother can't seem to understand my apprehension and out right refusal to ride in the tiny cab of my step father's truck with him. Since that fateful day in May I have spent as little time as possible near him, and what little time near him always in the company of my mother. It's not as though I wish to waist her money and force her to drive me back and forth to school, I simply can not stand to be near him.
He has given me the creeps since before my mother married him and I've mentioned it several times only to have it fall on deaf ears. He is the one and only reason I insist on having a lock on my door, because I am honestly afraid that he will walk in while I'm sleeping and attempt to rape me.
Perhaps I'm just being paranoid, but with the way I've been treated repeatedly by males; Abused, Abandoned, Molested, and nearly raped, How could I not be?
